Who are we?
Mrs. Kena Garner
I began my Martial Arts journey at age 8 right here in Salisbury, and over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to train in multiple states and various martial arts styles. My true passion is helping children develop the skills they need to excel in life. I discovered this passion while teaching martial arts, which led me to pursue Childhood Psychology and ultimately earn a double major at Salisbury University. Throughout the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching hundreds of students here in Salisbury, and now, I’m excited to take the next step—leading my own Martial Arts school. My mission is to provide children and families with the life-changing benefits that Martial Arts has to offer, building confidence, discipline, and resilience that last a lifetime.
Mr. Justin Garner
I began my Martial Arts journey in 1990 in Georgia, and over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching more than 5,000 students across four different states. Many of my students have gone on to open their own schools, and I still travel to Georgia and Florida to support and recertify them. What I love most about Martial Arts is watching people push past their limits and accomplish things they never thought were possible—it’s truly life-changing. Martial Arts has given me so much, not just in skill and discipline, but in family as well. It was through a Martial Arts class that I met my wife, Kena, 13 years ago, and the rest is history. Now, we’re excited to give back to the community that has given us so much. We look forward to sharing this journey with you and can’t wait to see you in class!
